BILI-THERAPY Spot Type delivers targeted blue‑light phototherapy through a compact, energy‑efficient LED source, offering three distinct mounting configurations to suit different clinical environments and equipment setups.

Optimised blue LED spectrum

The light source utilises blue LEDs with a peak wavelength between 450 and 480 nm, falling within the range recommended by the American Academy of Pediatrics (AAP) guidelines for effective bilirubin photoisomerisation.

Dual irradiation intensity levels

The unit offers a High/Low irradiation switching function, allowing clinicians to select the appropriate intensity based on the infant’s bilirubin level and clinical response. This flexibility enables tailored treatment protocols that balance efficacy with the infant’s comfort and skin integrity.

Dimmer function for developmental care

In examination mode, the white light intensity can be dimmed to a level appropriate for developmental care, minimising light exposure during sensitive periods and supporting the infant’s sleep‑wake cycles. This attention to light management reflects the broader principles of developmental care followed by Atom equipment.

Versatile mounting options – adapting to your equipment

BILI-THERAPY Spot Type is available in three configurations, each designed to integrate seamlessly with Atom Medical incubators, warmers, and bassinets.

Arm Type

The Arm Type features a flexible, articulated arm that can be attached directly to the incubator or warmer F-Rail. This configuration provides precise positioning of the light head over the infant. The arm offers stability and easy adjustment, making it ideal for use with incubators such as Incu i or warmers where space around the patient is limited.

Mount Type

The Mount Type consists of a lightweight irradiation head and a separate power supply unit. This configuration is designed to be mounted directly onto the F‑Rail or pole attachment system, making it particularly suitable for use with Dual Incu i and Incu i. The Mount Type offers a clean, integrated appearance with no bulky stand, maximising the workspace around the patient.

Stand Type

The Stand Type features a dedicated floor‑standing base with a vertical pole and adjustable arm, providing a stable, freestanding solution. This configuration is ideal for use when no F‑Rail is available, or for units that require flexibility to move the phototherapy source between different care areas.
