Corporate Social Responsibility (for UK) | Company | ATOM MEDICAL

ATOM holds itself accountable for the environment those babies will grow into. By 2028, ATOM will cut carbon emissions by nearly 20% compared to 2023 levels. ATOM MEDICAL CORPORATION EU Office has raised awareness among its employees about the need to become more sustainable. As a consequence, efforts have been adopted to replace as much as possible air travel with train travel: during last year the distance travelled by rail increased by approximately 48.2% in respect to the previous year. Business travel is being optimized, fleets are transitioning to electric vehicles, and renewable energy contracts are replacing conventional power.

In Italy, ATOM has partnered with WOWnature to capture and conserve CO2 equivalent to its entire reported emissions through reforestation and forest protection projects certified under the highest FSC standards.

We will continue to consider supporting projects also in other European countries outside Italy (as we did this year supporting a project in Spain), to have a more shared distribution of the benefits of this action over our covered markets.

ATOM MEDICAL UK commits to zero-tolerance of modern slavery, with policies ensuring supplier compliance, including signing codes of conduct and providing awareness training.
