Thumb‑controlled ventilation

The operator places a face mask on the newborn and controls inspiratory time simply by covering or uncovering the T‑Flow Valve with a finger. This intuitive one‑thumb action allows the clinician to focus entirely on the infant’s response rather than on complex equipment adjustments.

Clear pressure display

The integrated manometer provides continuous visual feedback of airway pressures, allowing the operator to confirm that delivered pressures remain within the desired range throughout each ventilation cycle.

High safety – protecting the newborn’s developing lungs

Consistency of pressure delivery is one of the most critical factors in neonatal resuscitation. Resusci Flow addresses this with engineering that ensures reliable, reproducible ventilation.

Preset PIP and PEEP

The device allows the operator to pre‑set both peak inspiratory pressure (PIP) and positive end‑expiratory pressure (PEEP). The PEEP level can be fine‑tuned by rotating a dedicated knob, offering flexibility for different clinical scenarios.

Controlled pressure profile

Unlike conventional self‑inflating bags, which can produce variable pressures depending on hand strength and technique, Resusci Flow delivers a precise, consistent pressure waveform with each breath.

Alarm function

The unit incorporates an alarm function that activates when the pressure difference between oxygen and air supplies exceeds 138 kPa, alerting the team to potential gas supply issues that could compromise resuscitation quality.

Operational independence from central utilities

Requiring only a compressed gas supply, Resusci Flow can be deployed in delivery rooms, operating theatres, and during transport. This independence from electrical power or wall suction makes it suitable for use in remote settings, emergency vehicles, and facilities with limited infrastructure.

Compatibility with transport incubators

The compact design allows the unit to be mounted on transport incubators such as IncuArch, ensuring that resuscitation capability accompanies the patient throughout the entire care pathway.
