Neonatologists have developed their procedures and clinical knowledge to the point where infants born at 23 or 22 weeks can survive. It is simply what clinicians must do, every day, for families who deserve every possible chance.
Our equipment is the response to requests from neonatologists who faced problems that off‑the‑shelf solutions could not solve. ATOM listened and then built incubators according to those requests, spending decades to learn how to protect babies’ life.

ATOM’s design and construction dramatically reduces condensation; the smooth and seamless internal surfaces have no hidden crevices; all removable parts can be taken off and put back without tools; the Power Pack I secure the baby with a continuous treatment during transportation or black-out; Far-Infrared wavelength heater assures the best thermal neutrality; high‑thickness Plexiglas is used for its resistance, insulation, noise absorption… everything to protect a developing brain and to lasts longer. As a matter of fact, beside the clinical benefit provided by our incubators, the cost of ownership is among the lowest in the market.

In recent years*, Japan’s neonatal mortality rate has dropped to 0.8 per 1,000 live births, one of the lowest in the world, thanks to advances in medical care. Our infant incubators have been widely chosen at medical facilities throughout Japan, where the neonatal mortality rate is extremely low.
