Infant Incubators

ATOM equipment protects a tiny baby from cold, stress, separation and infection – all at once, because every detail matters.

A preterm baby losing heat four times faster than an adult cannot block noise or light and has no immune system to speak of. Our I Series Incubators wraps the smallest patients in stable warmth, quiet protection and clean air, while a cutting-edge design keeps the environment safe and parents close.

Some very peculiar and uncommon features

Internal Stability and Patient Comfort:

  • Effective air curtain active upon opening the snap-open doors, ensuring a stable internal environment without disturbing the patient.
  • X-ray cassette accessible from both sides without needing to open the access panel.

Noise and Disturbance Minimization:

  • Manually operated tilting mechanism, externally controlled, with no motors to minimize noise and electromagnetic interference.
  • Noise level < 41 dBA with O2 control active, meets AAP recommendations.
  • Silent opening and closing of access gates (Rotary Dampers)

Cleaning and Maintenance:

  • Smooth and rounded inner walls for easier cleaning.
  • Humidification chamber (tank, boiler, and electrical connections) fully removable; no hidden pipes or tubes.

Water Supply and Humidification:

  • Tank capacity of approximately 1 liter provides more than 24 hours of autonomy.
  • Option to use a disposable external water supply unit.

User Interface:

  • LCD 8.5” touchscreen display, swiveling, detachable, colorful and antimicrobial with silver ions.
  • Trend Display.
  • The trend display function helps in identifying changes in the vital signs of the infant and the environment within the incubator (Air Temperature/Skin Temperature/Relative Humidity/Oxygen Concentration/Heating Output/SpO2/Heart Rate).

Ergonomics and Accessibility:

  • Adjustable height from 80-120 cm mattress surface to the ground; 138-226 cm total height.
  • Compact dimensions of the incubator minimize the risk of infection when approaching the patient (no contact with elbow in access gate).
  • Access gates finished with soft rubber sealing (comfort for users’ and parents’ arms).
  • Double locking system to ensure patient safety within the incubator.

Care Support:

  • Optional built-in SpO2 monitoring (Masimo or Nellcor).
  • Open care heating system operating with Far-infrared (Dual Incu I), for better thermoregulation and developmental care.

Emergency Power Supply (Power Pack I)

  • Ultra-light UPS (less than 20 kg) with strong Li-ion battery, battery life of approximately 150 minutes at 36°.
