Clinical Webinars (for NICU Nurses and Physicians)
ATOM’s clinical webinars for NICU staff are designed by clinicians for clinicians.
Our lecturers use clinical evidence — studies, guidelines, case reports — and illustrate key points with concrete examples. Participants are encouraged to share their own experiences, ask questions, and challenge assumptions. The format is interactive, and by the end of each webinar, attendees gain practical knowledge they can apply at the bedside the very next day.
Among many other topics, our webinars cover insights about the physics of heat loss, the maturation of premature skin and the role of humidity in the first weeks of life, the impact of noise on the developing brain and hearing impairment, the role of the microbiome in the development of baby’s immune system, relevant international experiences with kangaroo care and other clinical pratices, clinical strategies for the treatment of jaundice, infection control strategies, etc.
